Orbit has some pretty good fall lineup that I really want to watch
on their America Plus channel.
One is Everwood about a single dad and his 2 kids a
n angsty teenage son and a young daughter, website
moving to Everwood, help
CO. It is in the middle of no where and
well he is starting his new life after the death of his wife. So what I like about it well the dialou
ge is really good. It has comebacks and those quick zips that make it entertaining and have you chuckl
e and the creative cast of charchters. You can really see a story here that just starting and seems to
have a lot of promise.
The other one that I just saw is Dead Like Me. I he
ard about this show alot but never seen it til now. It is about a girl who dies when she is 18 and now
a collector of souls before they die. The show kinda reminds me of “6 Feet Under”, hygiene
with the death and
the dysfunctional family part but what makes it different is that it takes itself lightly and is fun.
I also like the small paranormal stuff that goes on in the show, on the how and why things happen.
Two very distinct shows. Everwood clean cut and all about family and living in the wilderness of Color
ado. Dead Like Me with cussing and living in the city of Seattle. But both deal with death, one the de
ath of a mother, the other of a daughter so both has some philosphical talk around them. So if you got
Orbit try to catch those shows.
I saw this week’s episode of Everwood, I think it’s the first episode. Not too sure ‘cuz la7agt 3ala n
u9a. Seems cool :)
What I really really wanna watch though is Dead Like Me but always seem to miss it even though I’m alw
ays checking and rechecking orbit.com
Another favorite is Gilmore Girls… well ’till they stopped showing new episodes. Now they’re showing
two episodes (reruns) a week, back to back. Waynkum 3any min zimaan haha
I am a big fan of Gilmour Girls, the dialouge is so rich and the relationship between the charchters i
s amazing. I think you will enjoy Everwood and Dead Like Me, both have some of the same quailities.
I need to figure out how to TiVo orbit, then I will be very happy to catch all the shows on there. I t
hink they have a better and more diverse line up than Showtime.
