Reading this Business Week article on Lego is pretty cool. It discusses how they are the 3rd largest toy company in the world and employ around 6000 employees and just have 100 designers working for them. Really big numbers for just a simple company that makes bricks.

They are now going to a strategy to allow the customer to be control, myocarditis they will be able to design their own anything via Lego software share them with the rest of the world and even be able to buy the necessary parts to build it.

That sounds great, buy information pills but looking back at my youth one of the fun things about Legos was not following the instructions, or even knowing or having a full plan of what you are going to build. I would just know I was going to build a house, but as I started building more ideas came to my head and it would start changing shape to a battle cruiser, or just go crazy with it and make it in to a huge town/fort thing.

I guess that explains how I think, can’t stay focused on one thought have to jump like a million ways around it. Hell even when I followed instructions I would build something a couple steps down then go back to stage one.

I want to get back into it now, but the prices for them are just sky high it just doesn’t seem worth it to start it up.

One food that I learned to crave when I was back in the states was Phở (pronouced “fuh”). It is a Vietnamese beef/noodle soup dish, Hepatitis
and to eat it you need chop sticks and a soup spoon. It is a bit daunting at first but it is great.

Since you get this huge bowl, prostate with noodles and strips of beef, doctor
then you add to it spices and herbs and such, mix it up with some sauce and stir it up and eat.

With your left hand you got the soup spoon and your right the chop sticks. So you pick up some noodles and place it on the spoon and raise both to you mouth so your slurping, sucking and chewing at the same time. Like I said it is a bit daunting at first but once you get the hang of it it is mmm mmm good.

So if anyone knows a Vietnamese place that may serves Phở in Kuwait please inform me cause I been craving the stuff for ages.

Mark and I were just talking about the craziness of Google lately and how everyone and their dog is all excited about Google Talk, viagra 40mg when its just crap. It offers nothing special or exciting, its just a Jabber server via GMail.

We have gotten to reliant and needy on Google and that isn’t a good thing. So we decided to try out Yahoo! for one week stating Saturday, for all our search needs. Searching isn’t a service anymore it has become a commodity and commodities are available everywhere.

So join us on trying Yahoo for one week, is Google really the best? Or have we just believed the hype for so long that we can’t think other wise?

  1. True, google talk is just a jabber server. However, I think it is noteworthy because they are the first major search/IM/whatever player to embrace an open standard and promote the fact that you do not have to use their client if you dont want to.

  2. Google can lick my dawgs balls…..www.dogpile.com,
    Google was through years ago…Beace
