I Wonder If He is Married?
Bungie the maker of Halo 2 have just released some mind blowing stats of the online Halo2 matches.
This one to me really takes the cake:
The Halo player who has played the most games to date (his identity will remain secret in order to protect his job) has played a staggering, mind-boggling 14,919 games, spending an average of six hours per day, and playing around 71 games. Per day. Now that guy is a freak. Seriously.
I wonder if he is any good?

It’s an unfortunate circumstance with those games that you really can’t go far in them unless you dedicate at least 3-6 hours a day in order to level or maintain your status.
Here’s the real sad part though: There’s now a growing market of ‘virtual sweatshops’ where you pay to have some fella in South America or Asia play your character and level for you when you’re not online. It may sound like a good idea but it goes against what the game is designed for. The emerging ‘real world’ economy surrounding these games is exposing capitalism in all of its ugly glory.
It’s one of the reasons why I will always defend text-based MU*’s.
You realize that it can be a group of people playing after one another on the same account? :/
3baid - that’s probably not fair either, but I’d be more accepting of that tactic.
Yay MUDs!
I dont care much for online RPGs, its about the people who are there that make it. MUDs had the best interaction you could get with people.
