I Found My Soldier Girl

Of on another trip, this time to well its a hop skip and a jump. Flying to Frankfurt, then to Amsterdam, then a little plane to the outskirts of Holland where I will drive to Belguim. The way back will consist of a train to Amsterdam.

Currently kicking it in the lounge and waiting. Eating these pretty decent sandwiches. They are small but damn tasty. Oh and on this trip I got a bluetooth stowaway keyboard which rocks easy to type on and very functional.

Feeling melencholy on this trip, just going to miss people. Luckily saw some friends earlier tonight, except one will be DEAD TO ME.

It is strange how Kuwait gets to you. There are times that you can’t wait to escape and run away, then there are times like this where you just want to stay and hand out with the people you care about and care about you.

Again!

Again another early rise, but there was some trouble getting out of bed. Hopefully that problem won’t be happening more often. That feeling of “damnit I knew I shouldn’t have done that last night”, I knew what would happen in the morning if I did, but I took someone’s suggestion and gave it a try even though I knew it would lead to trouble.

So I felt like Uma Thurman in Kill Bill trying to get her toes and bodies to move, so that I can actually move. Luckily I got things to move and eventually got out of bed.

So the end of the Colt / Steelers game. The Colts are on fire, they are really going for the ring this year, they are focused and driven. I can’t believe it is nearly Dec. and the Superbowl is just around the corner. This year has been quick, felt like yesterday I was talked to purg that NFL season started.

Tonight I leave to Europe. I am not sure where exactly. I am going to be hopping around. Serisously it will be planes, trains and automobiles. I got my mp3 player (Creative Muvo C100) got to love that allows for batteries, no more “oh no I ran out of charge where can I plug it”. This one I can just buy some AAA and keep on listening.

Need to clean my desk up at work and any pending stuff before the trip. Want to leave with a clean mind and totally relaxed.

Sleeping Strategies

General — nibaq on November 28, 2005 at 7:03:05

I really dont know what is going on with me. Yesterday I get 4 hours of sleep, wake up at 7 bright and shiny as ever, totally ready to take on the world. Today some bird start going crazy at my window sill at 6. I usually am able to phase it out and just go back to bed. I just become awake and full of energy and totally focused on being awake.

I really need to figure out what is wrong with me. I think there something in the stars. Cause I know it is not the weather. I have perfected the art of sleeping in when the weather is crappy or cold. Something is grabbing a hold of me when I wake up and doesn’t let go.

I am going to go watch some NFL hopefully Orbit ESPN has the 4th quarter of a game on. Joy last minutes of the Jets - Saints game, looks good but I got no affiliations with any of them. The Jets quaterback is doing some pretty amazing plays. He is moving those chains, keeping control of the ball.

Thats the difference between Baseball and American Football. Baseball is a defensive game, you have to think where to toss the ball. You got someone on 1st and on 3rd. Do you risk the runner on third going for home, or go for the easy out on first and second. There lots of strategies involved in baseball for defensive plays and variables like how many outs, innings, pitcher configuration. If it is a good game, it can be quite entertaining to watch.

American Football on the other hand is an offensive game, you move those chains up and and up the field and go for that touch down, and maybe that field goal. Also its is about controlling time. Planning a strategy that is effective both in movement and time management.

Is “You haven’t seen nothing yet” a double negative?

Well I have driven over 500km in the past 24 hours.
Both running on empty
4 hours of sleep last night
Then drove to Wafra at 9am
Came back at 3pm
Kept on going
MY left arm hurts around the biceps
I think I bruised my right kidney ribs
My neck feels tight
Got corns on my baby toes
Eyes feel heavy
Shoulders in knots
Grabbed a mohajabas boobs
Got punched in the face by a mohajaba
Got a spanking and spanked someone (23 left)
Got wet
Got some lubin
Some people are dead to me

And it was all worth it.

I will have a feeling a start of an idea and just follow it. This one reason my bags are like a ton of bricks when i in back home it is just filled with brain candy. Another thing that i go after is music. I am also petty good with that. I just pick them out based on cover art & name.

The picture above is of my favorite book store. I learned Italian in this place for it is a childrenc book store. It was the first store I visited when I first came to Bologna.

I also learned about lovc in the book I got from herc called Quel Mostro DellAmore by Vittoia Facchini.

Being back here is like getting together with an old girl friend you recall some stuff but not sure how to get there.

I remember shops & corners. The smile of the waitress who would bring my cupaccino. All this from my Lost City tour from 2-3 years ago.

Out of all the cities I know this one the best. I just have to let go & the streets lead me. Wanted to go to this hole in the wall restaurant for their funghi. I started making random turns & movement sensing it was near. The guy I am with thought I was crazy but we ended up there.

Ive forgotten l have hidden memories on these Roman streets

I been craving this magazine for ages. Its a car magazine for the rest of us. Talks about design, history, people behind the car & the people who drive them.

I found it after dinner so I decided to skip the bus back to the hotel & just walk around. After a few random turns I found this bookstore open @ 2330. How cool is that?

On the way to Italy. Short trip but travel time will suck. Lots of memories there back when I was a young buck. Lets see if I have clanged over the years.
