Just talked to her, she has joined some strange game show that is like Apprentice meets Survivor in Failaka and I think something involving communist pirates vs ninja zombies.

Jitter, Failaka has been open for a long time. You can take a day trip there, or even stay the night at hotels.

I believe they are 2 or 3 trips a day.

I know the day trip ones can be done via Marian Crescent, and one in Shuwaik port you can take your car there.
