I have always advocated the return of the phone booth to public places such as restaurants, hospitals, etc. Speaking for myself I sometimes have a private conversation and dont wish to share it with everyone else.
Then you also have those people who wish to share the whole conversation loudly and unapologetically with everyone in a 100m radius.
So seeing this photo of a "phone booth" in the SAS lounge really is a welcoming sight. I think they even attached a white board marker for note taking.

Ingenious! I certainly go hope this gets around. Phone booths are quite cool, and as you said, very private.
That is pretty wicked. Too bad the loud obnoxious people probably won’t use it–how can they be loud and obnoxious then?
I do think it’s cool, but I’d be afraid that some people would vandalize it or stick gum all over it. But in it’s current pristine shape, I think it’s fantastic.
they will think it’s a bathroom booth, but I think it’s a good idea…..!!!
