I <3 Coffee

Caribou has a buy 2 get 1 free deal so I stocked up on my coffee needs for the month.

I have a personal French press. Its very simple just add the beans and hot water then just stir.

Also it keeps the coffee warm so I get to enjoy it longer before it gets cold.

Really enjoyed reading this comic strip. Giving a interesting perspective of a war correspondent traveling to Lebanon, visit web
Afganistan, more about
Hawaii, Timor and then to Somalia.

As a comic it captures some of the little things that dont get mentioned in the news papers or shown on the news. As well as he own account of it.

I traveled to Netherlands and Belgium over the National day break and took my Nokia N82 as my only camera. I took a bunch of pictures but made sure that all of them were geotagged with the phone’s GPS.

The cool part of this is that I dont have to guess where I took the pictures anymore or try to remember where I ate or shopped. I simply just take a picture and all that information is saved. Overall I am really impressed with the N82 the phone works great, and camera quality is fantastic. There are times where I am pining for my old SE P990i, visit this yet I dont see myself running back to it for those reasons.

I might write a full review of my N82 since I’ve gotten it in Dec. sometime soon.

Got a couple cases of Shani love to hand out.

Some have been complaining and stating that “nibaq doesn’t blog anymore”. Well that true in a sense, pestilence but really I been microblogging. You can find more about what I been up to on my lifestream. It combines most of my online activities (twitter, refractionist flickr, del.icio.us, and my blog) in a nice orderly thing.

Also there are the lucky few of you who get my emails of cool websites. I may integrate that to my lifestream or create an email list for people to subscribe too.

If you are interested in receiving these emails, leave a comment.

Pano-rama

While playing Halo 3 last night with some friends I screamed out the word “lucker”. This caused the room to go quiet and look at me with confusion. What I meant to say was “lucky fucker” and with the intense battle of the game my brain was working extra fast and decided it didn’t need those 5 letters in the middle.

So far the word has a nice ring to it and can be used in open conversation without offending others.

I wrote a couple days ago but haven’t had time to post it.

Well it has been a good exhausting couple days from traveling and getting situated then there is the sking.

The flight here was intresting. Isaw Darjeeling Express and then the movie Spellbound. That was syncrocity, help sine in Spellbound one of the words was “darjeeling”. Both movies were enjoyable and were about the same subject of self discovery.

Passport control was a pain. A first for me entering germany. The guy was checking my passport and asking questions then even requested my ticket. I knew everything was in order but that is never a good sign.

The weather here is imaculate. It is all around 0 with good snow and no crowds. So the slopes have been sunny and smooth. Sadly this may not last, after the 25th is when the crowds come and slopes won’t be as enjoyable. So planning to get the most of it til then.

I regretably went jeans shopping yesterday. Well not I did come out with 2 good ones at the end but after trying over 20 jeans from over 10 brands. It was a pain. I got big thighs and the style is slim fit with low rise which I hate. In order for them to reach above my thigh I had to get a size or two bigger and then it was too loose on the top and well wasn’t comfortable. What really gets me is that they are so many jeans designers out there but all are doing the same style. You’d figure they would try to defretiante themselves and offer more varitey in cut instead of color.

Its a hard life in the mountains

It has been 10 long years since the last Duke Nukem and we have waited for so long. We even thought it was going to happen and became a running joke at Wired. Yet when all doubt has faded we are given this:

I think it is time to bust out Duke Nukem3D and kick Mark’s ass again.

What a whirl wind month. I arrive from Turkey and have all the end of year engagements to attend to at work. Then to take everything to 11n Eid comes.

These past couple days are a blur in terms of work, pharmacist family and random meetings at night with friends on their schools’ winter break.

Another trip with the pre flight jitters. Yet this one isn’t as bad since it is a vaction and the other was work related. So I can relax a bit, cialis sale but work will surely follow me from there via emails and calls.

The only hassle with this trip is the wires. I am currently carrying:
1) Backberry charger
2) Nokia charger
3) ipod wires
4) Nokia headphones
5) Nokia video out
6) Ipod headphones
7) Usb cable

Really annoying. Can’t wait for the day when all devices get powered by usb and make the end of this worms in a can.

Actually I may phase out my ipod if the N82 works well. Has lots of features that can replace an ipod and add more. Only thing I need is bigger microsd card. Hmm now that N95-8gig sounds tempting.

I plan to fully utilize my N82 gps and camera features. So expect some geotagged posts and pictures.

Every eid I bring a box of there and pass them out to the kids. They love it and the parents get some quiet time as the kids are playing outside.
