If you use GMail and want to see some changes implemented head over to:Gmail: Help Center.
They have a lsit of features that they would like to implement and giving you trhe chance to vote on it. Also there is a part in the bottom for your own suggestion.
I personally want to be able to arrange emails by sender name.
Unfortunately they do not list IMAP, which means it probably wont happen. But I suggested it anyways.
Totally forgot about IMAP, but it has to come with IMAP OD IDLE.
