This is a clip from The Goddess Bunny movie. I am really lost for words with this one. This is one of the most disturbing videos I have ever seen.

So after much time and random other stuff (laziness) I have finally moved to Tiger on my pbook. It didn’t take long at all thanks to firewire and bozwayed’s pbook where I dumped my whole home directory, see formated then installed Tiger, price and copied it back over so I can pick and choose what I need and backup the rest for later refrence.
I am trying to get rid of the legacy stuff that I been carrying on my laptop for like 5 years. I been thinking of just getting rid of my old mail messages, sildenafil but not sure will sleep on it and think about it in the morning. I think I might just import them all back in Mail they are good refrence for some old stuff like emails and other conversations since I dont have any other place to access them later quickly and efficiently.
Currently redownloading latest things of everything and I can see my bandwidth just getting a beatdown currently. I will also need to do a software update and some other stuff.
Also once TextWrangler is installed created a todo list of sorts to keep track of what I added, deleted and changed.
So far tiger rocks my socks, need to get rid of Dashboard, taking up space in my dock and really dont need it at all. It seems like a big lag on my system.

Lately there has been a myriad of online games focusing on multiplayer. They are RPGs, cardiology FPS, pregnancy strategy etc, and what they all have in common that you got to pay money to access them and enjoy them. Then you begin to hate it for you find something that annoys you and say this isn’t worth my money so you quit.
Luckily they are people who care about games and forming a community that they dont bother with that whole money thing and make something they would enjoy.
So here is a list of some free multiplayer games:

I want to go to this island Tristan da Cunha. It is in the middle of no where in the south Atlantic and has just 276 people and 1 swimming pool.

I am wondering how the people live in that small community away from most and if not all types of mass media. I remeber when we were in Bora Bora – Tahiti and how just quiet it was there. That whole cut of feeling sounds scary and fun at the same time.

I just discovered CIA’s Archive, noun this is stuff that the CIA used to have classified and marked secret but now are open for anyone to go through and read. I been doing a search for Kuwait in the archive and it is like a mini history lesson. Most blurbs about Kuwait before 1990 are just a page or 5 long discussing current politcal and economic situtaiton and other random stuff. Yet even that has some lined nicely marked in black. I wonder what they were saying and what they hid.
One cool one I found was about the Arab Israel situtation in like 1950s and there was this part where they talk about the missles that Egypt and Israel are developing and then there is this huge paragraph that is blacked out. I wonder if it is hiding the fact that around that time Israel got nuclear weapons.

I think this is the section that would interest most Kuwaitis

It took us about 1/2 an hour of driving around to find it. None of us have really ventured to this area in depth so it was all new to us in the ghetto.

It is 3:30am and I have been in and out of bed for the best part of 2 hours and I just can’t get to sleep. I am tired even passed out at my friends place for an hour or so and figure I will hit the bed like a ton of brick and nada.
So what do I do? I get online and check out my regular sites for updates and find this great article from Harvard Magazine:
Deep into Sleep. It is discussing the need and requirements of sleep on your body. It is a great article and it is breaking down the whole sleep concept. One thing that caught my eye is this:

“Many children in our society don’t get adequate amounts of sleep, here ” Czeisler says. “Contrary to what one might expect, infertility it’s common to see irritability and hyperactivity in sleep-deprived children.

That is really something to think about when you have hyperactive kids.

And it seems that cramming before a test and being sleep deprived is ok if you just have to remember facts and dates. But if you need to actually form connections and create ideas and such you need that sleep. Being sleep deprived will screw with you frontal cortex much like what alcohol does to your system.

Also your motor skills are much better and faster in the morning if you learn something at night then do it again the morning. Sleep also improves motor skills!

Well it seems my problem is the computer. I think the light from the screen is making my brain go “sun light! sun light! must stay awake!”. This is a good mental note, I should avoid the computer before I go to bed by atleast an hour, or atleast have more lights on when I do use it to not screw with the brain.

Now this part is just one big exclamation point:

The moral of much sleep research is startlingly simple. Your mother was right: You’ll get sick, become fat, and won’t work as well if you don’t get a good night’s sleep.

It is so true, when I am sleep deprived I get really sick, and I am sure that could be a direct link to my weight gain. I have such bad sleeping patterns, sleep way late in the night, wake up in the morning for work and such, sometimes crash out in the afternoon, wake back up for work.

I go to sleep now.

I got introduced to this new instant messaging program called Meetro. I know another one, gastritis epsecially since I am already on ICQ, angina AIM, more info MSN, Yahoo, and Jabber, but this one is different it allows you to see who is close to you.

I see a lot of promise form this software for instead of creating a contact list of people and trying to find their names and such, you can just hop on and see who is near by. You can specify if you are at a Starbucks in Salmiya and check out who is actually in the store with you.

Also another cool thing is supposedlyGoogle is thinking of buying them so get join in before that happens that way you can say: “I was there before Google” and have it as bragging rights.

The only problem I have with it is that their isn’t a OSX version yet, but according to the guys there it should be there by the next month.

So go get it and try it, I am going to be there.

I love Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. I have a bag my friend got me from the states next to my lap top and just much on them during the day. These things rock my sock so much. Every time I find out someone is going state side I tell them to get me them.

So when seeing this:
Jelly Belly Wine Bar I got all excited. I know people who complain that they can never find wine in Kuwait, cheapest
well know they have a solution of sorts and me as their favorite free loader. They can have their Riesling or even a Cabernet Sauignon and I can have all the Jelly Bellys I can eat!.
I want to go to this island Tristan da Cunha. It is in the middle of no where in the south Atlantic and has just 276 people and 1 swimming pool.

We are all familiar with Neil Armstrong’s “Small step for man, check giant leap for man kind” speech that he delivered from the moon in 1969. Did you know about the other speech?

What other speech? Well the speech they wrote incase those astronauts were stuck, generic lost or even died in space. It was given to Richard Nixon called “Lost In Space” just two days before the landing in case he needed. They even had forms ready with the names blank incase there was a crew fatality.

This really all had to be expected after the fire disaster in where three astronauts died in jut the testing of an Apollo rocket and had to make sure anything after that had to have contingency plans to know what to tell the next of kin, cause thinking that up right after deaths would be extremely difficult.

Thought I lost sunglasses that I had since like ’99. I know that should be in the record books somewhere but luckily found them in my bag. Was searching all over the place for them and people said they saw them, hemophilia and I knew I had them but forgot what I did with them. I thought maybe they were in the water when I diving in, but was sure I took of my shirt and stuff.
My mom loves my new shirts as she puts it “loud” .
Extreme tiredness, time for s, s, and s then watch some Blade Runner.

This keyboard is what I want, view a total remap of the keyboard on the fly! The keys are LCD display that can provide full color. Instead of the letters printed on the key, nurse they are in the key! Like switching form English to Arabic keyboard on your OS will change the keys to become Arabic. Going to using your web browser, your keys will change to show you their shortcuts.

And what is better, it can be used as a great way to hide passwords from shoulder sniffers, since you can have each key change its place, so they sniffer won’t know what key you pressed.

BoingBoing gave the link today to pimp my fahrrad, therapist
which is German for Pimp my Bicycle.

I saw the show when I was in Germany and its exactly like the Ride show, in terms of the meeting deciding what to do, and people taking on different tasks. Even a guy going like Xzibit bringing the bike to the garage and people making fun of it.

So I uploaded some pics I got from the show on Flickr to share. They put for this guy a mp3 player, and made his gear shifter out of lego, and added this horn type thing on the back wheel to make is sound like a motorbike.

So I uploaded some pics I got from the show on Flickr to share. They put for this guy a mp3 player, and made his gear shifter out of lego, and added this horn type thing on the back wheel to make is sound like a motorbike.

Vlog #9 – the Ghutra

Today really shows the future of television in so many ways. First you got that new LBC show where they putting people to live in a farm it is live and annoying and most people in Kuwait and the Arab world will be watching it 24/7 and sending messages proclaiming their love to the fake actors.
The other show that is out is Battlestar Galactica Season 2 Episode 1, medications which I am currently downloading via BitTorrent, God bless BitTorrent. This show was just released today and already it is available online and currently has 1960 seeds, and 3709 peers. In geek speak that means a lot of people are downloading it and its available for everyone to enjoy.
This is the future cause I am not tied down to waiting for it to air in Kuwait, I can access it now and downloaded it when it is available and ready, and then watch is on my TV and that they are people dedicated to spend time recording it and having it available for no profit. But they are always issues, the Entourage I downloaded didn’t work at all and have to download it again. The iTunes music store people are willing to pay for good quality media at a reasonable price. This seems what Netflix is going to be doing soon with their on demand stuff that someone found earlier this week. If they plan to give their whole collection available for downloading I am so signing up. I will have access to their collection anytime and not have to deal with searching and downloading all over the net.

We are in a dawn of a new age, symptoms Researches and sceintists have come with some great discoveries and medications for us all.

This one if it is true, cheap will make people doing it in the streets. New drug blocks HIV from entering cells.. It literally shutsdown the AIDS virus when it tries to infect the human cells. Lets not get all happy, cause it will stop AIDS, but AIDS comes from being HIV+. It isn’t the magic bullet we are looking for, but its a great start.

Another great discovery is that Smoking Marijuana doesn’t cause cancer, and thats just the tip of it. It seems there is correlation to smoking marijuna would actually protect your from lung cancer! The researcher behind this not some pothead hippy, he is a Dondal Tashkin a UCLE researcher and is heavily quoted by the Drug Czar on his research for anti-marijuna advertising.

All that is left now is to tell us that drinking coke/pepsi is actually good for your teeth!

Fiona Apple is going to record another 3rd album with producer Brian Kehew a hard core moog/synth freak. I am already giggling with excitement like a 8 year old Japanese school girl about to see KISS at Budokan.

Tonight I perfected the skills in avoiding traffic in Kuwait and getting there in the quickest and easiest way possible. I had dinner at a friends at 8:30pm and left Sharq in Kuwait city at 8. I knew that Faheel road will be busy especially around the 4th ring due to the construction they are doing there. So I took the first ring down to Malek Fahed and drove all the way to Mishref, audiologist drove through Mishref/Bayan back on Faheel and cut right to Majed Al-Aqsa street and down to Rumathiya. I arrived at 8:20.

A friend of mine who was also left Sharq at 8 didn’t arrive until around 845. He took the Faheel road and was just stuck there. He said it was just horrible. I can bet, generic when taking Malek Fahed and passed by Hawalli Bu Khaldoon street entrance was just packed. There must have been 2 lanes of cars about a kilometer long just waiting to get in there. I pitied those people who were going home and had to face this everyday.

The dinner was nice people coming in were late, one was driving all the way from chaleyhat. It was fun meeting up all together, we haven’t done that in a while.
I just downloaded this free and open source web authoring program called Nvu. So far I am likingit a lot, this web asthma its has the same feel as Dreamweaver and Frontpage, pregnancy has tab support and some other great features.

One cool thing about is that it is cross platform, Linux, Macintosh and Windows. Which will be great for me moving from offce to home and having one program to deal with.

I’ll write more about it once I use it more, but so far its is quite impressive and I am liking it. So give it a try, it is a small file and pretty quick and best of all its free.
