This is something that has gotten to me with my friends and just other people. It really has been annoying me since way back during CDs when a friend would be jumping from song to do song, ed not even letting it complete and is already in a track 3 or 4 down.

I just couldn’t stand it. It really drove me up the wall, physician especially if I really enjoyed the song, and even when I enjoyed the whole album and would listen to it all the way thru and have it repeat. Now with DMP and such it is even more so. They are jumping from song to song from genre to genre without some sort of pattern or sense.

It seems they are looking for that part they enjoy and once they reach it move to the next one.

Granted that sometimes these occur in playlists or mixes but those are more controlled and accepted. There is a theme or feeling that comes with it and you want to enjoy the whole feel, and atleast you let the song play fully.

You see I am a albums person I love getting it and listening to it all the way thru and enjoying each song for its worth and get with the album. Yet lately it is even harder and harder to find an album that you can listen all the way thru without throwing it out and just keeping the one and if you are lucky two songs that you enjoy.

So are you an albums or a songs type person?

The cars ready for fueling

Came back to Kuwait around 20:30 last night. Really quick drive on the way back from bridge to border took us 2 and a half hours then it was a 40 minute ride to Kuwait City. I am still reeling from the trip, viagra
my brain was just broken today. Going to work I missed 4 exits. The traffic and turns just got to me. I was so used to just driving straight on without any cars around for so long it took me a while to adjust to Kuwait traffic.

The The Gulf Run was a great success. There were some little problems, but everyone came thru to help each other and work it out.

Who Do You Tell Your Hopes and Dreams Too?

After Saddam’s verdict yesterday it really didn’t feel like a real verdict. As we say in Arabic “mako dagam”, internist it had no taste or meat to it. Just the way the trial was created ran and televised, myocarditis you could tell it was a show.

But last night on BBC radio I heard something that really put it all into perspective. We shouldn’t look at this trial as just a trial against Saddam and what happened before operation Iraqi Freedom, but as a precedent on what will happen in the future. For when Iraq is back into it’s feet the people who commited the autrocities now will also be on trial for their actions just like they did to Saddam. Only then there will be some real reconicaltion for the deaths.

A wonderful video montage showing clips from movies that depict Arabs/Muslims in a negative stereotypical way based on the book Reel Bad Arabs

Out of 1000 films that have Arab & Muslim characters (from the year 1896 to 2000)
12 were positive depictions, sildenafil
52 were even handed and the rest of the 90O and so were negative.

We really get the short end of the stick when it comes to these things, even the scrawny Jewish guy gets the girl at the end.

Who Do You Trust with Your Secrets?

Officially everyone is back in Kuwait now from their Eid holidays traffic today is just over the top. If people just flowed correctly and didn’t use the emergency lane!

I was thinknig of getting my camera and going to one of the bridges and take pictures of people violating the emergecy lane for their own purpose and just give it to the cops to fine them. If they can give tickets to people who speed via radar cameras I am sure they are able for this one.

Serisouly it is just disrespectful and causes more traffic on the road and there needs to be a fix.

Just found out that they are 30, somnology 000 taxis working Kuwait! I can’t believe that they are that many roaming the streets of Kuwait, cost and that the government has just released option for 1000 more. What the hell is going on? Has public transportation and city planning turned to such crap that we have to have taxis roaming the streets. It is going to be one madhouse.

This year for Eid I am going to make a list. I always end up forgetting someone so making a list seems the best way to remember and even save it for next Eid. Yet I will have two lists one for people I will just SMS the other to actually call. We are really gotten impersonal with this SMS thing over the years it is a great way to keep contact with people, order
but sometimes it is nice to give em a call and say it with your voice.

The one thing you learn from going to forums is the ability to write some bitch slapping replies. I just wrote one for business letter and couldn’t have done it with such style and prose without my troll forum training.

So Thank You Forums!

Been feeling a bit strange this past week and oddly enough I was looking for some old emails and papers and seems around the same time last year and before it was the same.

Strange wonder what causes these things around the same time every year, salve and glad that I keep dated notes on it so I can refer back to them.

Got an SMS last night needing blood donation so headed to blood bank in Jabriya. Took me like 30 minutes just to move down Tunis St. Those traffic lights are a mess and the people are idiots with their blocking traffic lights.

This is the second time I give blood, store
last time was in March 10 2005 and even then I said I would make a it a reoccuring thing.
